ISAN 2024: ISAN Travel Bursaries

Still thinking about whether you can attend ISAN 2024?? ISAN has 10 travel bursaries to help early career researchers and students with costs associated with travel, registration or accommodation. To be eligible, applicants must be:

  1. A currently enrolled Masters or PhD student or an ECR (defined as up to 5 years after PhD graduation)
  2. Sponsored by a current financial member of ISAN
  3. Presenting work at the meeting

To apply for funding please email [email protected] using the subject line “ISAN Travel Fund” with the following:

A brief (<100 words) biography that includes your name, current role (e.g. PhD student), and relevant employment/educational history
Any special considerations relevant to your application (<100 words)
Your supervisor’s name and contact details
The name of a sponsor (this does not have to be your supervisor but must be a current member of ISAN)
A copy of your abstract which includes title, authors, affiliations etc.
Proof of meeting registration

Funding will be allocated at the discretion of the Local Organising Committee based on abstract quality, travel logistics, and special considerations.

Deadline for applications is 1 July 2024.
